Pink Motorcycle Jacket
The pink motorcycle jacket is second only to the pink
motorcycle helmet in terms of growing popularity in riding gear.
Pink motorcycle jackets are great
for ladies because they are easy for other drivers and riders to see, provide important protection in the form of
armor and padding. Manufacturers are making pink motorcycle
jackets in every style including cruiser, racer and
traditional Harley styles.
Removable linings extend the usability of the garment and allow it to
be used from spring to late fall. Some even come with heated linings which make them even more
versatile. Look for generous venting in the back, arms and sides too.
Padding should be ample in the elbows shoulders and back. It is best
to have extra padding, or armor that can be removed and re-inserted based on your riding habits and trip
itenerary. A lot of today's jackets include these removable panels
Sizing is really important, so make sure your jacket is comfortable
all around. Check it while zipped up and remember to consder the clothing you will most likely wear
beneath it. At the same time, the jacket shouldn't be so loose that it permits excessive wind
infiltration. Make sure it can be made sufficiently snug at the wrists and waist.
Sizing charts are
usually based on waist and chest size. Go
with one that is a size larger when your measurement is between sizes.
Don't forget about
pockets. You'll need them inside and out. The more the better we always say. Buckets,
snaps and zippers should all be rust and corrosion
resistant or else your jacket will weather and age prematurely. You'll end up with a pretty
pink leather jacket that looks terrible because of all the rust
and discoloration.
