Pink Motorcycle Helmet and Riding Accessories for Her

Welcome to Pink Motorcycle Helmet. We built this site for the lady riders so that they can find the most up to date gear, equipment and accessories, and not just in pink.

We call our site Pink Motorcycle Helmet because it kind of epitomizes the whole genre of women's riding gear . Sure, there are a lot more products today than there were even just a few years back, but the pink helmet will always be the classic.

More women are riding today than ever, and our hats (or helmets) are off to you girls. Most women still won't even get on the back of a bike, but that's slowly changing and we say all for the better. There is just nothing cooler than a chick who rides.

Whatever type of helmet you may prefer, whether it's a full face helmet, a three quarter shell or a half shell beanie helmet, they are all available today with the woman rider in mind. Pink helmets are also now available in light weight, super strong carbon fiber.

Size is important. Too large and it can come off in a crash, when you need it most. You will also get a lot of wind up in that thing and that will cause it to pull up and away, causing neck strain over time. If you get one that is too small, you can expect headaches, literally. Your helmet should fit snugly and not just contact the top of your head. If you go with a full face helmet, it should grip your cheeks and jaw area in addition to the top and sides of your head.

When you shake your head from side to side or up and down, you want it to remain stable and not feel like your head is rolling around inside the helmet. Here’s another tip for you to check on proper size and fit. With the chin strap fastened, grab the back of the helmet and pull it up and forward, trying to yank it off your head. If it comes off, you should use a different helmet.

Look for that all important DOT sticker too. Make sure your beautiful new pink motorcycle helmet is Department of Transportation certified. If it is, it has a DOT sticker on the back and the manufacturer or retailer will certainly make this feature quite prominent. DOT certification means that the helmet manufacturer is making an assurance that the helmet meets or exceeds the government’s standards for safety in a number of areas.

Oh, and one other thing. Don’t overlook the fact that a bright pink helmet will make you way more visible to other drivers on the road, and as we all know, this can be a really good thing.
